Description
Tree ducks are a personal favorite of mine, they are very personable and have a more laid back personality than many of the other species of wild ducks. All tree ducks produce a pleasant sounding almost musical whistle, and each species whistle is unique to that species. Tree Ducks are very social with each other and would prefer to be kept a group setting. If kept on open water it is recommended to have these birds pinioned or to at least keep them wing-clipped.
